The Philadelphia Kids Fashion Week Showcased Philly’s Brightest Young Talent to Benefit The Leah Still Foundation

Philly kicked off 2016 by welcoming some of the fiercest young models for Philadelphia Kids Fashion Week Season 1.5 (PK Fashion Week) from January 29th-31st. The PKFW was to benefit The Leah Still Foundation to fight childhood cancer.

This season featured collections from designers including Solis Girl Power , Semoner Designs, UneeKidz and MajeedaMonae Apparel; Amongst the list of designers was 14-year old Tyyan Williams of Pinky Sez.

The beautiful Leah Still walked the runway on Saturday and Sunday for PKFW. Leah Still was also awarded several times during the weekend’s events. Special guest Sarai & Sahar Rice walked the runway on Saturday and Sunday.

The 3-day event launched at Soup Factory Studio with the presentation of “Urban/ Street Wear” collections; Graphic Tees and hoodies were the main pieces. Day 2 focused on “Ready to Wear” collections from ten amazing brands including OnePunch Clothing and Bow Tie Cause.

15-year-old’s Gabrielle Jordan and Tyyan Willaims were awarded plaques during the fashion event.

I was completely obsessed with UneeKidz’s  custom hard bottom leather shoes and suspenders. The little models slayed the catwalk on Day 3, ending PKFW with High Fashion. Semoner Designs brought African print to the catwalk while Clothigami delivered couture.
