The Fall Winter season is in full swing and creative consultant Shirley Breaux shares her style tips to look fashionable during the cold months.
Shopping through Fall Winter can be tricky but with one tip in mind you can elevate your style season to season seamlessly. The key to getting through the colder months is you could have guessed LAYERS! When shopping for your layerable pieces ask yourself “can it be worn in more than one way?”
Your layered looks can be achieved by incorporating a few key pieces into your wardrobe. I love a great structured dress, it can be worn alone, over tights or elevate your look with a wide leg trouser.
Another great piece is a blanket scarf, accessorize it with a brooch and turn it into a poncho or if it’s large enough you have yourself a dress or skirt.
My last key piece to add to your closet this winter is a turtleneck sweater. Not only can it be paired with jeans for a classic sleek look, but also you can transition your lighter fabric spring dresses into winter by layering them!
