We learned some very interesting facts about Tuesday and her Kolour Me Beautiful brand during our interview. Such as her thoughts, plans, goals, she even gives our readers a few beauty tips.
Check out Tuesday’s FabFashionReport interview below:
What experience do you have in the cosmetic industry?
I have 5+ years experience in the cosmetics Industry. I am a licensed cosmetologist and a certified makeup artist. I’ve done several fashion shows and fashion events alike. I’ve been at different events promoting my makeup brand through word-of-mouth, also on social media. My clients love my brand and the products are the perfect blend of ingredients, working wonders for any and every skin tone and skin type.
What gave you the inspiration and idea to start your company?
When I was in cosmetology school I found out that there was a lot more creativity inside of me than I knew. I discovered my love for beauty, color, style and fashion which all led to a cosmetics line for me. Then I had a vision or a dream one night where I seen Kolour Me Beautiful Cosmetics in lights and through that Vision a lot was revealed to me. So I’ve been pushing in every sense to achieve everything that was revealed.
How many years have you been in business?
I’ve been in business about 4 1/2 yrs, but actively for just 2 years.
An important goal I’ve set for Kolour Me Beautiful is by 2018 have at least 6 locations, 3 of which will be in major cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York City.
What is your biggest selling product?
My biggest selling product is my Luminous Foundation and my new Matte Liquid Lipsticks. They are running neck-and-neck as far as sales.
Tell me about your experience as a makeup artist?
My experience as a makeup artist has been mainly a positive one I mean “it’s makeup I absolutely love it.” Nothing pleases me more than doing what I do best, beauty is my first love.

There’s no greater feeling than changing someone’s life by taking them from wham to WHAM BAMM. Thank you ma’am LOL, it’s what I live for, some of my clients have never seen what they’re full beauty potential could be. So when I make that happen for them, just the look in their eyes. The gratitude, the confidence and joy that follows is a complete and utter satisfaction for me.
Where do you see your company in 5 years?
I see my company as a major cosmetics retailer in 5 years. I’ve just gotta get the products into the consumers hands and the product will speak for themselves. They are absolutely amazing animal cruelty free, paraben-free, non-comedogenic, allergy tested and proven all-around great and effective products.
What’s your favorite product in your cosmetic line?
What’s my favorite ummm lol! That’s hard to say, that’s like asking a mother to choose her favorite child. I love all of them, everything I carry I handpicked personally because I know from personal experience the benefits and the wear of it.
I just love them all and I know that the consumer will love them as well. But if I must choose, I’ll say my foundations. I have a variety because not everyone has the same skin type, so I definitely cater to all skin tones and types. Also, not to mention my foundations are just simply aaamazing they are medium to full coverage which leaves your skin feeling hydrated and well moisturized.
Also, after application your skin is beautifully Flawless. No more heavy cakey makeup! Kolourr Me Beautiful Cosmetics is definitely the place to go for all your makeup needs.
What are some of your favorite events you have attended?
My all-time favorite was this event called “Shecky’s Girls Night Out.” They used to have them all over, but I’ve attended/vended at the ones in DC and New York City. Absolutely amazing event!
Another favorite is “DC Fashion Week” which I have vended. I showcased my Runway High Fashion Shades in the show, also I was a makeup artist in the show one year as well. I also enjoyed “Cupcakes & Cocktails” A diva Soiree. I’ve been to many events but these stand out mostly for me and of course last but not least “Philly Small Business Fashion Week” was absolutely amazing.
I met a lot of great people, customers, designers, models photographers/media and fellow makeup artists. It was such a great and positive experience. I loved it!
